I was prompted to educate myself on this subject more from annoyance with the science deniers and conspiracy theorists that kept emerging on my Facebook account; which I have since ditched considering it to be not much more than an ideal gossip column for time wasters. I still find it hard to accept that otherwise smart and often allegedly learned individuals who appear ignorant (not necessarily stupid) about how to use the scientific method to distinguish between fact and fiction; even though this is no more evident than what can be seen in the many who aspire to reach the vice of power of political or religious prominence.
But still recognising my relative ignorance on this particular subject of climate change I began to earnestly study and research the facts, fantasies, and conspiracies that relate to it.
What follows is some of what I've written on certain areas of this concern but doing so has opened up the pursuit of going from amateur limnologist to someone a lot more knowledgable in that area of science.
